Corfe Castle 0 – Stoborough 11 – 11th Dec 2012 – Away

Match report by Dannon
Stoborough have continued their great start to the new season with a convincing 11-0 win over Corfe Castle. Stoborough were in total control right from the start and were quickly 3 goals up thanks to a hat trick from new arrival Jack. He went on to score another 2 goals to add to further goals from Samuel (2), Joe (2) and late goal scorer Charlie (2). Let’s hope they continue their run of form for the next game against St Marks in Swanage.

Match report by Samuel
Last Tuesday we played against Corfe away. It was Jack and Dannon’s first game for us. To start with, Harry was in goal, Ethan and Charlie were in defence, Dannon, Jack and Gabriel were in midfield and Joe was the striker.

In a couple of minutes we had a few chances and Jack had scored his first hat-trick for us after about 15 minutes. Then Samuel came on for Charlie at right back but Gabriel and Samuel swapped round so he was at right wing and almost straight away we scored again, when Samuel played a through ball to Joe. (That made it 4 nil).

Just before half time Joe scored his second goal of the game. At half time Mr Mitchell and Mr Keates told us to keep doing the same. That’s exactly what we did and it was 7 nil after a few minutes in the second half when Jack scored his 4th and smacked his 5th. After about 10 minutes in the second half Samuel scored; he was on the edge of the penalty box and he finished it in the corner making it 8-0.

Sadly Jack smacked the ball really hard and it hit one of the Corfe players on the head, consequently he had to go home. Next we scored yet another goal, Samuel’s second. It hit the post then the defender and went in but it was probably already going in anyway. Finally Charlie scored a quick two goals before the end.

We think it ended something like 11-0 to us but Corfe played well, it was just that we were amazing.

Well done, as an ex pupil at the school I don’t remember us playing as well as that. Well done to Jack, Joe, Samuel and Charlie.
