We were visited by the Bishop of Salisbury, The Right Reverend Nicholas Holtam on Tuesday 12th February to officially open our school.
David, ‘Baby John’, Martyn and Ian attended from Spetisbury Construction and were joined by Chris, Jestyn and Sue from the Diocese architect team. Other special visitors included Hugh Maddocks and Mrs. Gould, both wonderful neighbours and represented by the clergy team by Jackie.
Bishop Nicholas was wonderful with the children and spent a good couple of hours with us. The Year 5 pupils had organised a range of questions and some of his answers are recorded in the Stoborough School magazine. Thank you to all those parents/ carers, families and friends who were able to celebrate this special event with us.
If you or your family have any memories of Stoborough School in the past, please write these down and pop in to share these with us. We are trying to fill a memory book for future generations to read and there are still plenty of pages left!
Thank you to everyone for making this such a special day. Stoborough is a wonderful school and I am so proud to be your Headteacher.
