Coastal Learning Partnership is the admissions authority for its member schools.  Admissions policies are determined by the Trust Board in line with requirements of the Schools Admissions Code.  Coastal Learning Partnership works closely with the relevant Local Authorities in the administration of its determined admissions policies.  From this page, you can access everything that you require to apply for a place at any school within the Partnership, including direct links to information with the relevant Local Authority.

Families are welcome to come and look around our school at any time during the school year. Simply contact our school office on 01929 552974 to arrange a visit.  They will arrange for you to have a tour of the school and the opportunity to meet the Headteacher and members of staff.

CLP ADMISSIONS CONSULTATION 2026/2027

The consultation period runs from Friday 6th December 2024 until Friday 24th January 2025.

DORSET SCHOOL ADMISSION ARRANGEMENTS CONSULTATION - 2027/2028 

 

Dorset are running the annual consultation on the School Admission Arrangements for 2027/2028 with effect from Monday 3rd November 2025 to Sunday 14th December 2025.

 

Alongside, they are also running consultations regarding the reductions in PAN at the following schools:

  • William Barnes Primary School: from 30 to 20
  • Wyke Regis Junior School: from 90 to 60

Please note, there are no substantive changes to any of the policies.

 

Responses must be submitted either in writing to School Admissions Team, Dorset Council, County Hall, Dorchester, DT1 1XJ or by email to schoolorganisation@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk by Sunday 14th December.

 

Upon the conclusion of the consultation period all responses will be considered carefully and a report will be presented to Dorset Council’s Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
