  • Curriculum

Underpinning our curriculum is our school vision: We are one family: love for ourselves, for each other and for the world. The aim of our curriculum is for all pupils to flourish: to have high aspirations, be confident and resilient individuals and to make a positive contribution to the school community and beyond.

'Let all that you do be done in love’ Corinthians 16:14.

‘For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline’ 2 Timothy 1:7

    British Values

In June 2014 – the Education Secretary set out plans for all school children to be taught ‘ British Values ‘.

There is now a clear expectation from the Department for Education for all schools to ensure the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural  development of all pupils and to demonstrate within this that they are actively promoting fundamental British values as set out below :

    •  Democracy
    •  The rule of law
    •  Individual liberty
    •  Mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs

We use Picture News in weekly worship to explore the current events happening in the world.
